God of love, Father of all....

The iniquity that consumed the earth has yielded to the sunny first Light of your Holy Scripture made manifest. Declare me and all who submit to Your Holy Name, to be citizens of this Light. Establish me as faithful to your Word, that I may impart Your Holy Spirit to the expecting world. Grant that this be so, through the mighty Name of Christ our Redeemer. Amen.

 PSALM 23

1.        The Lord is Pastor Bola's Shepherd.
She shall lack nothing.

²         He makes her lie down in green pastures.

        He leads  Pastor Bola beside peaceful waters.

³         He renews her soul.

        He guides Pastor Bola along the paths of righteousness

            for the sake of his name.

⁴     Even though Pastor Bola may walk

 through the dark valley of death,

        because you are with Pastor Bola, she fears no harm.

            Your rod and your staff give Pastor Bola courage.

⁵ You prepare a banquet for Pastor Bola 
while her enemies watch.
You anoint her head with oil.
    Pastor Bola's cup overflows.

⁶ Certainly, goodness and mercy will stay 

close to Pastor Bola all the days of my life,

    and Pastor Bola will remain in the Lord’s house 

for days without end.

                            Amen.

Prayer and God's-pill

PSALM 30

1. Rev. Bola will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted her up,

And have not let her enemies rejoice over her.

2. O Lord my God,

Rev. Bola cried to You for help, and You healed her.

3. O Lord, You have brought up her soul from Sheol;

You have kept her alive, that Rev. Bola would not go down to the pit.

4. Sing praise to the Lord, you His Godly ones,

And give thanks to His holy name.

5. For His anger is but for a moment,

His favour is for a lifetime;

Weeping may last for the night,

But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

6. Now as for her, Rev. Bola said in her prosperity,

“Rev. Bola will never be moved.”

7. O Lord, by Your favour You have made her mountain to stand strong;

You hid Your face, Rev. Bola was dismayed.

8. To You, O Lord, Rev. Bola called,

and to the Lord Rev. Bola made supplication:

9. “What profit is there in her blood, if Rev. Bola go down to the pit?

Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?

10. “Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to her;

O Lord, be her helper.”

11. You have turned her mourning into dancing;

You have loosed her sackcloth and girded her with gladness,

12. That her soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.

O Lord my God, Rev. Bola will give thanks to You forever.

Amen.
